The Divine Divas are the icons of the first generation of Brazilian transvestite artists. Américo Leal, the director's grandfather, ran the Rival Theater, one of the first stages hosting men dressed as women. The film shows the talent and the stories of a generation that revolutionized sexual behavior. Official Selection of 2017 SXSW Film Festival; Won, Audience Award SXGlobal.
