Officer Marcus Williams, a tough city detective who has no empathy for delinquents, unwillingly gets teamed up with the community liaison Samuel Gray, a compassionate Pastor. The unlikely partnership is created to solve the murder of a teenager in the neighborhood. As the duo discover that the murder incident is actually part of something bigger and worse, Marcus and Samuel both learn that saving lives means working together to prevent an all-out gang war.
