Adele's Wish

The epic story of an elderly American woman's struggle to recover five Gustav Klimt paintings from Austria that had been stolen from her family by the Nazi's in 1938. It began as a legal dispute but the case quickly evolved into a political, cultural and ethical confrontation. In the process, Austria was forced to re-examine not only its role in Nazi art thefts but also its anti-Semitic past.
